Obituary



William Herman Hubbard, 77, of Huntington, husband of Nancy Ellen Salyers Hubbard, died Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at his residence. He was born October 23, 1940 in Scalf, Knox County, KY, a son of the late Shelby and Cleda Mills Hubbard. He was also preceded in death by a son, Billy Ray Hubbard, a sister, Mary; and a granddaughter, Jessika Hernandez. He was a truck driver having owned and operated Hubbard Trucking. William has spent the last five years having taken care of his wife, Nancy as her health has worsen and has been bedridden. In addition to his wife, survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Maggie Hubbard of Huntington; two daughters, Rachelle Heigis and husband, Steve Heigis and Lisa Hubbard, all of Cold Springs, KY; seven grandchildren, Gary Langston, Shelby Hubbard, Jeremy Tucker and wife, Caira Tucker, Justin Tucker, Lee Hubbard, Dalton William Hubbard, and Korttney Hubbard; a great grandson, Jaxson Lee Armstrong Hubbard; three sisters, Bobby Hubbard, Betty Hubbard and Odie Hubbard, all of Pique, OH; and a brother, Don Hubbard of Pique, OH. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family and no services are scheduled at this time.
