Danny Leroy Yates, 58, of Milton, died Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor Tom Jones, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born February 1, 1960 in Milton, WV, a son of Lillie Blevins Fyffe of South Point, OH, and the late Homer Daniel Yates. Danny was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Homer and Sophia Yates and William and Alma Blevins; and his brother, Jimmie Allen Yates. He was a welder having worked for Refrigeration Industries. In addition to his mother, survivors include, a daughter, Cora Basenback of Ashland, KY; a son, Billy Joe Basenback of Huntington; six grandchildren, Kyra Traylor, Addyson Adkins, Isabella Basenback, Peyton and Tanner Basenback, and Jaelyn Brown; a very special cousin, Ruby Schneider and special friend, Greta Basenback. Friends may visit family 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, June 25, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary.
