Obituary



Jacquelin G. Asbury, 88, of Huntington, passed away Friday, October 5, 2018, at her son's home. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Chapman's Mortuary, with Pastor Tim Arthur and Pastor Lou Ashworth officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. She was born November 11, 1929, in Columbus, OH, a daughter of the late Clifford Lyle and Cora Mae Lockhart Roe. 5 sisters and 3 brothers also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of 26th Street Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Basil Asbury; one daughter and her husband Terry Lynn Robert Wince of Granville, OH; one son and his wife, Kenneth and Doretha Asbury of Huntington; 2 sisters, Hope Ramey Kyle of Kenova, WV and Linda Martucci of FL; three grandchildren, Ashley and Andy Coon of Westerville, OH, and Ryan and Tanya Wince of Delaware, OH; 3 great-grandchildren, Trista and Tyler Coon, and Bentley Wince. Friends may visit from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
