Obituary


Vertie "lmogene" Chapman, age 81, passed away on Monday, October 29,2018. She was born to Clarence and Rena Elkins on September 21, 1937.lmogene attended Barboursville High School. She married William Chapman raised two boys and later moved to Ohio. Family was lmogene's passion and delight. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting loved listening to Elvis, and baked the most delicious zucchini bread. lmogene is survived by her two sons, James and Timothy, two granddaughters Jessica and Brianne, 5 great grandchildren James, Grace, Spencer, Ava, Gloria and three sisters Frances Jones, Nancy Canterbury, and Phyllis Alford. A service will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens located at Midland Trail and US 60, Barboursville, West Virginia on Friday, November 2nd from 1:30-2:00pm. A special note of thanks to the staff of Lebanon Health Care Center for their loving care
