Obituary


Charles Elmer Napier, 64, of Lavalette, WV., died Monday, October 1, 2018 at his residence. He was born November 21, 1953 in Huntington a son of Robert Lee Napier of Huntington and Lois Gaynelle Napier of Huntington. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a former mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the Huntington VFW Post 1064. In addition to his parents he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jason D. and Veronica Napier of South Point, OH; three daughters and spouses, Christy Napier and Brian Turkalo of Charlotte, NC., Lesley Ziegler and Tony Ziegler of Windermere, FL; Jessica Dawn Napier and Latoya Napier of Barboursville,; seven grandchildren, Jacob Napier, Maxwell Napier, Isiah Napier, Corinne Napier-Turkalo, Audrey Napier-Turkalo, Laken Ziegler, and Jaiden Ziegler; and three sisters and brothers-in-law, Laura and Mark Blankenship of Huntington, Judy and Roger Waugh of Huntington, and Patsy and Mitch Smith of Clemmons, NC. A memorial service is scheduled for 6:00pm Tuesday October 9th at Chapman's Mortuary. Friends may visit 30 minutes prior to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
