Leola Mills, 95, of Huntington, WV passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 23, 1923 in Cabell County, WV the daughter of the late Rev. Charley and Theora Adkins. She attended New Beginning Apostolic Church and was a member of Wolf Pen Church of Christ. Leola was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Mills; five sisters, Delsie, Juanita, Mazel, Nellie, and Polly; and one brother Denzil. She is survived by her two sons, Bishop Norman (Carolyn) Mills and Raymond (Tammy) Mills; two sisters, Melita Wooten and Velora Frasher; two brothers, Wetzel (Wanda) Adkins and Lowell (Joyce) Adkins; eight grandchildren, Rev. Todd (Christina) Mills, Rebecca Ware, Scott Mills, Brett (Joyce) Mills, Selena (James) Harrel, Angie (Don) Neal, Joe (Pam) Blankenship, and Tim Blankenship; eight great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 12-1 pm on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at New Beginning Apostolic Church located at 1002 25th St, Huntington, WV 25702. Funeral will follow at 1 pm with Rev. Todd Mills, Bro. Emual Adkins, and Bro. Danny Wooten officiating. Burial will be at Jones Cemetery, East Lynn, WV. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
