James Gregg Nichols, 66, of Ashland, Ky, died Sunday October 14, 2018 at Community Hospice Center of Ashland. James was born July 2, 1952 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Wallace G. and Phyllis Lambert Nichols. He was in Medical sales, a member of Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church and an avid Marshall fan. He was also preceded in death by his brother Rodney G. Nichols. Survivors include, two sons, Craig (Kim) Nichols of Winston-Salem, NC, and Geoffrey (Charlene) Nichols of Huntington, one brother, Phillip Guy Nichols and Sue Dostal of Huntington, four grandchildren, Hunter Nichols, Grace Knipp, Morgan and Addison Nichols. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
