ObituaryRebecca Lynn Ronk Rebecca L. Ronk, 69, of Huntington, beloved wife of Jim Ronk for 41 years, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter and Friend passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 at her residence with family by her side. She was born May 8, 1949 in Huntington a daughter of the late Charles Ray and Beulah Frances Bias Moore. Her daughter, Kelly Roach and a special aunt, Victoria Marcum, also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Spring Valley Freedom Baptist Church. Becky was a homemaker providing a wonderful home for Jim and their daughters. Becky loved her family, shopping, crafts, all things turquoise, jewelry, Reese's cups, her westies Lucy and Andy, Christmas, laughing, dressing up for Halloween, weddings, babies, and almost anything that sparkled. She was known for her sometimes inappropriate laughter, always being late, and taking the kids for birthday dates to eat and shop anywhere they wanted. Her loss will leave a huge heartbreaking void in the lives of those that loved her. In addition to her husband survivors include her step mother, Fay Moore of Huntington; two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy L. and Ricky Frye and Jamie K. and Josh Hammer, all of Huntington; She was affectionately known as Nana by her 11 grandchildren, Katey Roach, Kasey Roach, Kaleb Frye, Jakob Frye, Jonathan Saxton, Mollie Saxton, Natalie Saxton, Joshua Hammer II., and spouse, Samantha Hammer, Kaitlyn Hammer, Brett Hammer, and Nathan Hammer; two great grandchildren, Owen Roach and Jordan Lovejoy; two sisters, Rae Ann Johnson of Huntington and Darla Eckhart of Martinsburg, WV; and a special niece, Rachel Johnson of Huntington, and special friends Jeannie and Jerry Sheets and Linda and Aaron Mollohan. A celebration of life gathering will be held at the Spring Valley Freedom Baptist Church, Sunday October 14, 2018 from 3:00-5:00pm and a memorial service in her honor will start at 5:00pm Sunday with Pastor Patrick Elliott officiating. Inurnment will occur at a later time in Milton Cemetery.
