Joveta Dee Marolt, 56, of Pomeroy, OH, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at her residence. She was born May 15, 1962 in Nelsonville, OH a daughter of the late Charles and Karen Jane Norris Thornton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Lewis Marolt. She was a crafter. Joveta was a Free Cherokee Beloved Woman. Survivors include: her significant other, Jim Logan of Pomeroy and a sister, Jenny Thornton of Logan, OH. There will be no services. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
