Marcha Lyn Almodovar, 66, of Huntington, wife of Richard G. Almodovar, died suddenly Friday, February 19, 2016, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born August 14, 1949, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Edwin and Doris Collins Hurley. Marcha worked formerly with Beverly Hills Baptist Church Child Care, and retired from Lackawanna Mobile X-ray. She just enjoyed caring for children and making everyone happy and laugh. In addition to her husband Richard, survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Tommy Tomblin of Huntington, her stepson, Jimmy Almodovar and his children, Ricky, Caila and Kai. There will be a celebration of life from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington. The family would appreciate donations be made to them to help with expenses.
