Obituary


Curtis Cole Kimble, 64, of Ashton, WV, husband of Julia Lynn Kimble, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016 in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born November 18, 1951 in Cabell County, WV, a son of the late William "Jim" and Irene Chapman Kimble. He was a retired school teacher with Mason County Board of Education having taught at Hannah High School and Ashton Elementary School for 35 years. He was a former football coach for Hannah High School. Over the past years he attended several churches. In addition to his wife, survivors include, his son, Curtis Joseph Kimble of Ashton; two grandchildren, Madilyn Kimble and Mason Kimble; three brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Shirley Kimble, Carl and Becky Kimble, and Warren and Annette Kimble; and a sister and brother-in-law, Treva and Perry Baker. A memorial service will be held at a later date and his final resting place will be in the Irene Kimble Chapman Cemetery, Staten Chapel Road, Mason County.
