Daniel Lewis Marolt, 63, of Pomeroy, OH, died Monday February 1, 2016 in St. Mary's Medical, Huntington, WV. Daniel was born May 24, 1952 in Columbus, OH, a son of the late Lewis A. and Zenith Leasure Marolt. He proudly served in the United States Army and fought valiantly in Viet Nam. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Jane Aldridge. Survivors include his wife Joveta Marolt, two sisters, Janice Pauley and Jackie (Tom) Ryan, two brothers, Micheal (Kathy) Marolt and Anthony (Sue) Marolt, numerous nieces, nephews and friends, including a longtime friend Jim Logan. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
