Idona Dean Hunt "MaMa Hunt", born June 21, 1929, passed away at her home on February 25, 2016. She was a volunteer at Highlawn Elementary School for 38 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Byron W. Hunt, Jr. She has four daughters, Minerva Keener and her husband, Bob, Betty Arthur and her husband Dennis, Pamela Sue Hunt, and Patricia Ward and her husband John; two step-sons, Dale Hunt and David Hunt; 6 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 9great-grandchildren, and a host of friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday at Chapman's Mortuary, with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Road Huntington, WV 25702.
