Madge "Maxine" Willett, 87, of Huntington, WV, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral services will be conducted noon Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Trent Eastman officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Maxine was born February 11, 1928 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Alvia Ogle and Corean Harbour King. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Landon Stewart "Stu" Willett and her sisters and brothers, Mabel Hayes, Jim King, Jack King and Betty Vaught. She was a member of Twenty-Sixth Street Baptist Church. Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Jo Ellen Willett of Huntington and Marvin and Gwile Willett of Rio, IL; four grandchildren, Angie Marie Blake and Corie Beth (Brian) Harris, all of Huntington, David (Jessica) Willett of White House, OH and Kyle Willett of Woodridge, IL; and six great grandchildren, Emily Marie Brumfield, Hannah Jane Blake, Landon Allan Blake, Eli Max Willett, Cassie Harris, and Cole Harris, all of Huntington. The family would like to express a special thanks to her granddaughter and best friend, Angie Blake, great granddaughter, Emily Brumfield, and granddaughter, Corie Harris for their loving care of Grannie; a special thanks to Grannie's Angel, Mo Chapman for all that she did for Grannie and the family; and thanks to her caregivers, Mackenzie Duncan, Nate Lantz, and Susan Mays for their loving care. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, February 8, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary.
