"Red" Mills, Sr.
(May 2, 1918 - December 27, 2010)
Mr. Eustace A. "Red" Mills, Sr, 92,
of Huntington, widower of Margaret P. Mills, passed away Monday, December
27, 2010, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted
at 11:00 am, Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Chapman's Mortuary, with Pastor
Pete Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. He was
born May 2, 1918, at Branchland, WV, a son of the late Eustace and Minnie
Shepherd Mills. He was a veteran, serving with the US Army during WW II, a
member of the DAV, Chapter 2, VFW and American Legion Post # 16. He was a
Mason, a member of Western Star Lodge # 11, AF & AM, a 32 degree Mason and a
Shriner. He was a retired Truck Driver with Point Express. In addition to he
wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter; Patricia Ann
Mills, his siblings; Ann Eagle, Anna Pursley, Ruby Fraley, Regina Fraley,,
Early Mae Howard, Uzzle Fraley, and Darl Fraley. He is survived by 2
daughters, Jean Morris, and Barbara Mills, both of Huntington; 2 sons;
Dennis Ray Mills of Ona, and Eustace Mills, Jr of Ona; 10 grandchildren,
Ricky Dale Beckelheimer, Billy Beckleheimer, Memory Chase Mills, Michael
McComas, Toni McComas, Chris Bolling, all of Huntington, Nathan Smith of
Myrtle Beach, SC, Tiffany Mills of Barboursville, Casey Mills & Tammy
Merrill both of Greer, SC and several great grandchildren. Friends mat cal
at Chapman's Mortuary from 6pm until 8pm, Wednesday December 29, 2010.
Western Star lodge # 11, AF & AM will conduct Masonic Gravesite rites, and
VFW Post # 9738 will conduct Military Graveside rites.
