Jean Ann Poffenberger

Jean Ann Poffenberger, 70, of Huntington, WV, formerly of Williamsport, MD, died Friday December 31, 2010 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted 12:30 PM Saturday January 8, 2011 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with her brother Rev. Richard Conrad officiating. Entombment will be at a later date in Resthaven Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD. Jean Ann was born April 18, 1940 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Forest Stone and Leonard & Helen Kathleen Hagley Conrad, Sr. She was a retired schoolteacher from Hagerstown, MD. And she was Christian by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband; Robert Poffenberger. Survivors include three brothers & sisters-in-law; Leonard & Linda Conrad, Jr. of Chesapeake, OH, Joe & Elaine Conrad of Ona, & Richard & Rose Conrad of Las Vegas, NV, one son; Michael Allen Dyer of Rio Grande, OH. The family would like to thank her longtime special companion and loving caregiver Randy Hogsett, Jr. of Barboursville and Randy, III & wife Amy for all their loving care.
