Emily Mae Boggs
(November 19, 1927 - November 2, 2010)


Mrs. Emily Mae Boggs, 82, wife of 63 years of James R. Boggs, of Huntington, WV, formerly of Cross Lanes, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born November 19, 1927 in Mt. Carmel, PA, a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary F. Mattis. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. She was a U.S. Navy veteran of Korea and retired from Sears, Credit Central. She loved to Sew and Quilt. In addition to her husband, survivors include, a daughter and son-in-law, Jody B. and James J. "J.J" Dean, Jr, of Huntington, her grandson, James J. Dean, III, of Huntington and a sister Mary Phaffenberger, of Willimantic, CT. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, LLS Western Pennsylvania Chapter, Riverwalk Corporate Center, 333 E. Carson St. Suite 441, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
