Mrs. Rosie Merrla Cremeans-Smith, 67, of Huntington, widow of Rev. Ralph D Smith , Jr., passed away Monday, November 22, 2010 at her residence. She was born January 11, 1943, in Mason County , a daughter of the late Luther and Nowlia Camp Cremeans. She was an attendant for a Rest Care facility. She attended Community Baptist Church In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Steven Wayne Smith, and Eric D. Smith and a daughter, Latoma Faye Ward. Surviving are 2 daughters, Robin A. Pauly and Vera R. Smith. Both of Huntington, grandsons, Joshua A. Jackson, Jimmy G. Jackson, Dennis E. Shank, Jr, Matthew W. Shank, and Joseph D. Shank; granddaughters, Jordan R. Jackson, and Samantha S. Edwards; and great granddaughters, Arianna Faye Jackson, Annabelle L. Shank, Alexandria Jackson, and Harmony B. Shank, 6 sisters and 1 brother. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, November 26, 2010 at Chapman's Mortuary, with Rev. Don Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Pete Meadows Cemetery, Glenwood, WV. Friends may call at Chapman's Mortuary from 5 pm until 7 pm Thursday, November 25, 2010.
