Lowell Keith Davis
(November 23, 1937 - November 30, 2010)

Lowell Keith Davis, 73, of Lavalette, WV, fell asleep to awake in the arms of God, Tuesday November 30, 2010 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday December 3, 2010 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Rev. Carol McKay officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. Keith was born November 23 1937 in Wayne County, WV a son of the late Walker & Faye Smith Davis. He was a retired teacher from the Cabell County Vo-Tech Center, past Master of Wayne Lodge # 18 Wayne, WV and a member of Lavalette United Methodist Church where he had taught Sunday School. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1955 and also graduated from Marshall University with a Masters Degree in Education. Survivors include his loving & devoted wife of almost 49 years Peggy Byrd Davis, devoted daughter, Kimberly Spurlock, loving granddaughter Tayler Brooke Spurlock both of Lavalette and a host of family and friends. Pallbearers will be Darol Kendrick, Hugh Roberts, Sam Mitts, Bostic Brumfield, Charlie Ellis & Josh Dahler. Friends may call at Chapman's Mortuary from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday December 2, 2010.
