Lynda Louise Evans
(November 22, 1961 - October 5, 2011)


LYNDA LOUISE BECKELHIMER EVANS, 49, of Huntington, W.Va. passed away on October 5, 2011 at her home following a prolonged illness. Visitation will be held at White Chapel Cemetery in Barboursville on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 11 am with graveside service at noon. Lynda was born on November 22, 1961 to Patsy and the late Harlin Beckelhimer, Jr. She is preceded in death by her father and grandmother, Vicia Louise Rose. She is survived by her ex-husband, Paul Evans of Huntington, step children, Josh Evans of Huntington and Rebecca Evans, grandchildren, Asia, J. T., and Caleb Evans, mother, Patsy Beckelhimer of Huntington, brother Steve (Mary) Beckelhimer of Milton, two special nieces, Sarah (Greg) Koehler of Cincinnati and Emily Beckelhimer of Huntington, a special uncle, Leonard (Jane) Spurlock of Milton, a special aunt, Rhonda Cremeans of Huntington a special caretaker, Kim Graham and many cousins and friends. Lynda will be remembered by everyone who knew her as a warm and loving person who was caring and generous to all. Family and friends were the joy of her life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Chapman’s Mortuary is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
