Virginia Lucille Pinkerton

Virginia Lucille Pinkerton, 84, of Huntington, widow of William F. Pinkerton passed away Monday October 10, 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born May 14, 1927, in Huntington, a daughter of the late James Flemming and Susan Effingham Roberts. Three sisters and a brother also preceded her in death. She was a retired seamstress having worked at Corbin Limited. Survivors include a son, William T. “Bill” Pinkerton with whom she made her home; two grandchildren, Traci Storage of Mason, OH, and Michael Jason Pinkerton of Paintsville, KY; eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes donations be sent to St. Jude Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Private services will be held and burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.
