Obituary


Emogene Ann Bryan, 85, of Huntington, wife of Ted R. Bryan, Jr., died Monday, November 23, 2015 at Heartland of Riverview, South Point, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor Larry D. Bailey, Jr., officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born December 26, 1929, in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Clarence and Ida Mae Williams Knight. Additional family that has preceded her in death are four sisters, Infant, Maggie Elizabeth Knight, Jenny Brannen, Ruth Terry, and Lee Deer; four brothers, Infant, Clarence Junior Knight, Clyde Knight, Claude Knight, and Bill Knight; and a special sister-in-law, Betty Knight. Emogene was a homemaker and attended Living Waters Free Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, survivors include, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Terry Bryan, and Teddy Bryan, III, and Jewel Bryan, all of Huntington; two grandchildren, Shawnna Raynes and husband, Scott Raynes of Gulf Breeze, FL, and Cortney Bryan of Huntington; two great grandchildren, Delaney Raynes and Ella Raynes; two sisters, Inez Jobe of Barboursville and Frances "Frank" Caldwell of Huntington; and a sister-in-law, Rosemary Knight of Huntington. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday at Chapman's Mortuary.
