Judy Sue Blake Sowards, 68, of Salt Rock, WV, wife of William E. Sowards, died November 6, 2015 in St. Mary's Medical Center. Born December 6, 1946, in Huntington, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Myrtle M. Childers Blake. One brother, Clarence Johnny Blake also preceded her in death. Also surviving her are two sons, Johnny Blake Sowards of Barboursville, and William Edward Sowards II, of Aliquippa, PA; one daughter and son-in-law, Judy Ann and Steve Perry of Powell, OH; 4 brothers, Robert L. (Jane) Blake, Jr. of Barboursville, David P. (Doris) Blake of Clarksville, TN, Jerry G. (Shirley) Blake of Barboursville, William B. (Lois) Blake of Woodwine, VA; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary's Medical Center, and Lincoln Nursing and Rehabilitation for their wonderful and kind care. There will be no services. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington is assisting the family.
