Dave Maxwell, 79, of Sabina, OH, formerly of Huntington, died Sunday November 29, 2015 at the Autumn Years Nursing Center, Sabina, OH. He was born January 30, 1936 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Hugh Maxwell and Dorothy Sanborn Maxwell. He was a former teacher for Lawrence County Board of Education and was in the Army Reserve. Survivors include: a son, David Alva Maxwell (Easa Maxwell) of Sunbury, OH; a daughter, Sharon Maxwell (James Savino) of Fallon, NV; four step children, Robin Walter, Teri Erwin, Mark Wiley, and Robert Whitten; and two grandchildren, Josephine Pearl Savino and Anthony Nathaniel Maxwell. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family. There will be a memorial service held at some time in the future and will be announced at a later date.
