Virginia L. "Jenny" Thompson, 65, of Huntington, WV, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015. Jenny was born August 17, 1950 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Vilas and Ramalee Riley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life of 43 years, Gary Thompson, Sr.; great-grandson, Gunner Damron; and several brothers and sisters. She was a homemaker. Survivors include; five children, Annie Sutton, Gary Thompson, Jr. (Tisena Ventola), Cindy Thompson, Carollyn (Bryan) Goodpaster, Nathan Thompson (Charlotte Stanley); 16 grandkids, Brad (Sondi) Sutton, Adara Sutton, Brandon Thompson, Courtney (Eddie) Adkins, Zach Clagg, Lauren Adkins, Laura Ramsey, Bianca (Derek) Wentz, Chasity Clagg (Casey Damron), Erica Topping, Bryan Tomblin, Ryan and Maddie Goodpaster, Nathan Thompson, II, Tyler and Anthony Thompson; 10 great-grandkids, Kiara, Brooklyn, Isabella, Madison, Troy, Aubrey, Alayna, Khylee, Gunner and Addy; 2 aunts, Delores and Blanche; 3 half- sisters, 1 half- brother, 1 step sister and 1 step brother; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; two very special friends, Mary "Shanny" Mestel, and Marie Slash. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Friday, November 20, 2015, at Chapman's Mortuary. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Huntington.
