John Quincy Adams, 79, of Kenova, WV, widower of Virginia Ruth Adams, died Wednesday December 31, 2014 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was a retired Truck Driver for Roadway. There will be a memorial service at a later date. John was born January 16, 1935 in Campbell County, TN, a son of the late Oscar & Dora Smith Adams. John was also preceded in death by, a brother, James Adams & a sister, Mary Mankin. He is survived by two daughters, Lea Canterbury of Kenova, WV & Wanda Lochotzki of Elkhart, IN, one sister, Alice Edwards of Clendenin, WV, 8 grandchildren, Christopher, Gregory, Ashlee, Lindsey, & Jonathan Canterbury, Sandi Baum, John David Browning & Marshall Lee Browning, 10 great grandchildren. Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
