Virginia Elizabeth Greathouse
(June 28, 1920 - December 8, 2014)

Virginia Elizabeth Greathouse, 94, of Huntington, WV, died Monday December 8, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday December 12, 2014 at Cross Roads United Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Hill officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Virginia was born June 28, 1920 in New Haven, WV a daughter of the late Andrew D. & Mary Ballard Hume. She was a lifelong member of the Beverly Hills United Methodist Church, and a Past Worthy Matron of Huntington Chapter #8 O.E.S. She was preceded in death her husband Raymond Farley Greathouse, one sister, Lucille Francis Hume & one brother, Andrew D. Hume, Jr. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Kathleen (Cathy) delosSantos & one son Donald R. Greathouse both of Huntington, three grandchildren, Raymond Andrew (Andy) delosSantos of Huntington, Eliseo (Chico) delosSantos of Las Vegas, NV and Maria Ampudia of Yorba Linda, CA, one brother George B. Hume & wife Marlene of Palo, MI. in lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Hospice of Huntington, PO Box 464, Huntington, WV 25709. Friends may call at the church after noon on Friday. Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
