Richard A. Valentine
(December 13, 1931 - December 12, 2014)

Richard A. Valentine, 82, of Huntington, WV died Friday December 12, 2014 at his residence. Richard was born December 13, 1931 in Spencer, WV a son of the late Buell C. & Sybil Bonnett Valentine. He was retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers and a US Navy veteran serving during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife Carol Thompson Valentine, two daughters, Lisa Valentine Huff of Glenwood, WV & Cindy Valentine Thomas of Huntington, 5 grandchildren, Michael (Meagan) Valentine, Ethan (Nikki) Huff, Caleb (Andrea) Huff, Zachary (Emily) Huff and Bonnie Thomas, three great grandchildren, Tucker, Wyatt & Ellee Huff, and 1 brother, Jerry (Sue) Valentine of Milford, OH. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington. Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
