Virginia Ruth Harlan, 92, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born March 25, 1922, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Rollyn and Pearl Scites Harlan. One sister, Wynona Louise Roberts also preceded her in death. She retired from Mott Drilling Company as a secretary. Survivors include; a nephew John Roberts, a niece and her husband Samantha and Larry Thompson, and a great-niece, Sara Thompson all of Huntington. At her request, there are to be no services. ChapmanÂ’s Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
