Bonnie L. Ramey
(May 10, 1942 - December 21, 2014)


Bonnie L. Ramey, 72, of Huntington, wife of Donald M. Ramey, passed away Sunday December 21, 2014, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Pastor Danny Young and Rev. Duane Smith officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. She was born May 10, 1942, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Ezra G. and Mary Elizabeth Spaulding Hensley. Bonnie was a member of the Green Valley Baptist Bible Church of Huntington. She worked as a “Nana” for home child care for several years, and was a diehard Marshall University fan having volunteered with the “Sideliners” group. In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Lisa Ramey of Huntington; a son and daughter-in-law, Donald M. Ramey, Jr., and wife Michelle Ramey of Huntington; a granddaughter, Abigail Ramey; and a sister and brother-in-law, Louise and “Skip” Lane of Kenova.
