Bobbie Lee Williams
(February 25, 1935 - December 31, 2014)



Bobbie Lee Williams, 79, of Huntington, husband of Kay Caldwell Williams, died Wednesday, December 31, 2014, in Saint Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Hubert Harvey officiating. Entombment will be in the White Chapel Mausoleum, White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born February 25, 1935, in Lillybrook, Raleigh County, WV, a son of the late Omer Lee and Christine Doss Williams. One brother, Jerry Williams also preceded him in death. He was a 1953 graduate of Nuttall High School, a graduate of Marshall University, with a B.A. and two Master’s degrees, a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, and the BPOE Lodge #313, Huntington. He worked for Lattas School Supplies as a sales manager for many years, and retired from Stationers, Inc. Survivors in addition to his wife include: one daughter, Carol Jean Williams and Judy Marcum of Winter Haven, FL; one son and daughter-in-law, Russell S. Williams, Sr. and Jan of Huntington; two sisters, Shirley Sigman of Holopaw, FL, and Janice Tolliver of Glen Fork, WV; one brother, Randy Williams of Skelton, WV; 4 grandchildren, Russell S. Williams, Jr., Tara E. Williams, Robert Lee Williams, and Anna K. Williams; 4 great-grandchildren, Jayson, Rachel, Adam and Peyton. Friends may call from 12:00 noon to service time Saturday, January 3, 2015, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the American Cancer Society.
