Barbara Kay Blankenship, 66, of Salt Rock, WV, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington with Pastor Jeff Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born October 28, 1948 in Milton, WV a daughter of the late Elmer Blackburn and Dahlia Amerilla Beckett White. She was a sales associate with Wal-Mart and a member of Bloomingdale-Salem Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sheri and Bobby Legg of Huntington, and Cheryl and Jim Kane of Salt Rock; 4 grandchildren, Jonathan and Bekah Legg of Huntington, Alex and Andrew Kane of Salt Rock; one brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Rita White of Little Rock, AR; and a special friend Larry Glenn of Milton. Friends may call from 10:00 am to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
