Mary Frances "Frankie" Fillinger
(May 21, 1944 - May 31, 2013)



Mary Frances "Frankie" Fillinger, 69, of Chesapeake, OH, life partner of Susan Tredway, passed away Friday May 31, 2013 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday, June 3, 2013 at Chapman’s Mortuary with Pastor Randy See officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. She was born May 21, 1944 in Norfolk, VA, a daughter of the late Harry Thomas and Sadie Mae Davis Fillinger. Her brother, Harry Thomas Fillinger, Jr. also preceded her in death. She was catholic by faith and she loved to fish. Frankie formerly worked for the United States Navy. In addition to her life partner survivors include an uncle, Donald Lee Davis of Kenova, WV; a cousin who was more like a brother, Tom Davis of Ashland, KY, and a cousin, Virginia “Ginger” McMillian of Proctorville, OH; and her three dogs, Blondie, Rockie, and Lucky. Donations may be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Road, Huntington, WV. 25702. Friends may call 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington.
