Gary Gene White

Gary Gene White 73, of Huntington, husband of Linda Edwards White passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 in Saint Mary’s Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted 12:00 noon Tuesday May 7, 2014 at Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock, with Pastor Gordon Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow. He was born February 9, 1940, in Hamlin WV, a son of the late Edwin Ross White, Sr., and Geneva Childers White. He was a 1958 graduate of Barboursville High School, the owner/operator of Gary’s Shrubbery and Landscaping, and a member of Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to his wife include one son, Garrett White of South Point, OH; 3 sisters Phyllis Burton of Huntington, Sheila Plumley and husband Gary of Lesage, WV; and Deborah Hoff of Clendenin, WV; a brother Edwin “Rossi” White, Jr. and wife Marla of Lesage, WV. Friends may call after 11:30 am Tuesday at the cemetery. Chapman’s Mortuary is assisting the family.
