Ruth Marie Ball Reid, 86, of Huntington, WV, passed on to Heaven on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, in Huntington Health and Rehabilitation. She was born March 29, 1927 in Wayne County, WV a daughter of the late John Wesley Ball and Mary Etta Rowe Ball. A daughter, Charlotte Ann Reid Corns, five sisters, and two brothers, also preceded her in death. She was a longtime employee at Wiggin’s and Shoney’s on Route 60 from which she retired. Survivors include: three daughters, Barbara Spears and Linda Reid, both of Huntington and Brenda Conrad of Lesage, WV; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 PM Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
