Laurel Kent Dailey, Jr., 55, of Huntington, husband of Heather R. Dailey, died Friday, September 16, 2016, in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born July 30, 1961 in Lincoln County, WV, a son of the late Laurel Kent Dailey, Sr., and Luella Messinger Burns. His sister, Angel Dailey also preceded him in death. He was a truck driver having worked for Old Dominion Freight and for Veritiv. In addition to his wife, Heather, survivors include his two daughters, Marissa Dailey and Lara Dailey at home; his son, Joshua Lawson of Huntington; his stepfather, Jerry Burns of Huntington; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Young of Huntington; stepson, Hunter Crislip of Huntington; a brother, Larry Dailey of Huntington; his mother-in-law, Brenda Browning and his father-in-law, Kevin Browning, both of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, September 19, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary, with Joey Adkins officiating. Burial with military graveside rites by Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit one hour prior to services on Monday.
