Curtis "Junior" Staley, Jr. died peacefully in the Emogene Dolins Hospice House on September 18, 2016 in Huntington, West Virginia at the age of 67. Junior was born April 4, 1949 in Crites, West Virginia to Connie Hatten Staley, of Huntington and the late Curt Staley. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Staley. In addition to his Mother, he is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Mack) Kilgore, his son, Casey (Larissa) Staley, his sister, Ann Hill, and brothers, Danny (Myrtle) Staley and Larry (Laura) Staley, grandchildren Alesha, Andrew and Hannah Staley and Addie and Aubrey Kilgore. Junior was a heavy equipment operator, operating his own logging and excavating business for several years before joining the International Union of Operating Engineers, where he retired. He loved to fish and raise a garden. At Juniors request, there will be no visitation or funeral services.
