Obituary


Theresa H. Korodi, 72, of Huntington, widow of Joseph Francis Korodi, died Monday, September 5, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born February 15, 1944 in Warren, OH, a daughter of the late Patrick Joseph and Mary Ann Jennings Harrington. Theresa also had a sister precede her in death, Sister Mary Francis Harrington. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Huntington, a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, and a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Warren, OH. She was retired from the dietary department at The Woodlands Retirement Community. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Ilona and Richard Abbott of Huntington; a son, Barron Korodi of Kenna, WV; five grandchoildren, Harrison Korodi and Terry Powers, both of Sissonville, WV, and Devon Cremeans, Mariah Cremeans, and Taryn Abbott, all of Huntington; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Peggy and John Hyden, Kathleen and Ed Vennetti, Patricia Thomas, and Elaine and Pete Hackstead; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Joseph Harrington and Jack and Roberta Harrington. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Warren, OH, with a family visitation one hour before services.
