Marcella "Marcie" Alderman Pletka, 54, of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Mass of Christian burial will be conducted 10:30 am Friday, September 23, 2016, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, with Father Paul Yuenger officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Marcie was born March 20, 1962 in Huntington a daughter of Jack D. Alderman of Huntington and the late Patricia Jean Gleason Alderman. She was a caregiver for Starlight Behavioral Health Services and was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. In addition to her father, survivors include: a daughter Kathleen Kelly Pletka of Ona and her boyfriend, Colby Raynes; a son, Nicholas Pletka of Ona; two sisters, Sallie (Joe) Lazaro and Tracie Murphy, all of Huntington; the father of her children, Charles S. Pletka of Ona; a special friend, Don Haymon of Huntington; her aunt, Marcella (Philip) Corkrean of Huntington; and several loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, September 22, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm.
