Lizzie Etta Chapman, 92, of Ironton, OH, formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017, in Harbor Healthcare, Ironton. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Bob Hale officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Ridge Cemetery, Bidwell, OH at 2:30 pm Saturday. She was born October 14, 1925 in Lawrence County, KY a daughter of the late William Oliver and Mary Elizabeth Thompson Chapman. Five brothers and six sisters also preceded her in death. She formerly worked at W.T. Grant and was a member of Mt. Union United Methodist Church. Survivors include: a son, Roger Dale Chapman of Pedro, OH; five grandsons, Robert Mills of Huntington, Christopher Chapman and his wife Grace of Kailua, HI, David Mills and Donnie Mills, both of Huntington, and Tylor Mills of South Point, OH; a sister, Rose Lawson of Bidwell, OH; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
