Evelyn Agnes Tyree, 93, of Proctorville, OH, died Wednesday November 15, 2017 at Heritage Center, Huntington, WV. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday November 18, 2017 at Ridgelawn Memorial Park's Abbey of Devotion with Pastor Berkley Saunders officiating. Burial will follow. Evelyn was born May 30, 1924 in Culloden, WV a daughter of the late Wilson and Pearl Craddock Burdette. She retired from the Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church with 29 years of service and previously worked 19 years at Owens-Illinois. She was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church in Proctorville. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. Tyree, Sr., and one brother and three sisters. Survivors include one daughter, Beverly Ann Tyree of Proctorville and one son, Melvin L. Tyree, Jr of Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be after 10:30 AM until service time Saturday at the cemetery. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
