Obituary



Michael Steven Holland II, 46, of Ona, WV, died Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Chapman's Mortuary in Huntington with Pastors Greg Lunsford and Paul Meadows officiating. Burial will be at Rosemont Memorial Gardens following the service. Mike was born March 20, 1971 to Michael Steven and Barbara Johnson Holland of Huntington, WV. He was a retired electrician from IBEW Local 317, and a member of Beulah Ann Baptist Church. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and constant companion his dog Brandy. He is survived by his wife of 25 years Amy Holland. Three children, Michael Steven Holland III and wife Audrey expecting his grandson Iver Michael of Huntington, Kaitlyn and Luke Holland both of Ona. One sister and brother-in-law, Wendy Webb and husband Jerry of Huntington. Mother-in-law and father-in-law, Darrell and Suzy Rayburn of Barboursville, two brother-in-laws, Kevin and Shannon Rayburn of Ona and Keith and Lori Rayburn of Barboursville along with several nieces and nephews and special friends Lisa and Jason Henson, Bobby and Janie Bradley, and Mike and Stacie Hineman. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center for all their care for the past five years. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday, November 24, 2017 at Chapman's Mortuary.
