Sherry Ann Smith, 61, of Huntington, passed away Monday, November 13, 2017, in Specialty Hospital Memorial Health, Jacksonville, FL. She was a unit clerk at Cabell Huntington Hospital, and a member of Grace Gospel Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday, November 20, 2017, at Grace Gospel Church, with Pastor Keith Wiebe, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. She was born April 27, 1956, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Hassel and Pamela Watts Slone. Two brothers, Dwain and Thurman Slone also preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Gillian "Gil" Smith of Huntington; four daughters, Aimee Porter and Amber Smith-Jeffers both of Orange Park, FL, Ashley Byer of Ray City, GA, and Rosemary Madera of Kailua, HI; two sons, Jeremy Smith of Jacksonville, FL, and Joshua Smith of Huntington; two sisters, Rosemary Graham and Debrah Kay Jurawan; one brother, Robert Slone; ten grandchildren, Morgan Smith, Oliva Young, Levi Smith, Christian Porter, Cherish Smith, Elijah Smith, Keegan Jeffers, Caleb Smith, Carter Smith and Greenlee Smith; and one great grandchild, Hudson Young. Friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 pm Sunday at Chapman's Mortuary.
