Evelyn Mae Cooper, 73, of Proctorville, OH, wife of James Eugene Cooper, died Monday, November 27, 2017 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born June 30, 1944 in Marion, OH a daughter of the late William and Isabelle Walker Mahaffey. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Nanette Needles; and a son, Dusty Cooper. She was a wonderful mother and a homemaker. In addition to her husband, survivors include, four daughters, Melanie Greenawalt (David) , Kim Holycross (Greg Webb), Diane Cooper Beal, and Cindy Houser; seven sons, Jimmy Cooper (Amanda), Wes Rapp, Eddie Needles, Mark Cooper (Diane), Gary Cooper (Tammy), Mike Cooper, and Marty Cooper (Janet); 37 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church, Ironton, OH., with Carson Hunt C.P. officiating.
