Obituary



Ruby Jean Myers, 93, of Ashland City, TN, formerly of South Point, OH, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017, in Madison, TN. She was born August 15, 1924 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Howard and Maudie Booth King. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Chancey Ross Myers and a son, Ross Myers, Jr. She was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion. Survivors include: two daughters, Judy Johnson of Ashland City, TN and Peggy Mason of Westland, MI; five grandchildren, Ross Johnson, Sandra Bennett, Jerri Matthews, Denise McCollum and her husband, Rob and Claude Matthew Mason; 14 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Brady Lipscomb officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Visitation will be from noon to 2:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
