John Thomas Patterson, 74, of Pt. Pleasant, WV, widower of Linda Kay Patterson, died Thursday, September 14, 2017, in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born May 9, 1943, in Chesapeake, WV, a son of the late Walter and Trilba McDaniel Patterson. He was a coder for GKN, and Freewill Baptist by faith. Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Day, with whom he made his home. A memorial graveside service will be conducted at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, Gallipolis, OH, at a later date. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
