Tonya Lynette Campbell, 43, of Huntington, WV, died Tuesday June 3, 2014 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted 12:00 PM Friday June 6, 2014 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Elder Nathaniel Ward & Pastor Ken Toler officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Tonya was born March 28, 1971 in Huntington, WV a daughter of Arlene Campbell Dalton of Huntington & the late Herman Campbell. Tonya was a Child Advocate with the Cabell County Court. She worked with teenagers for 21 years and was known as “Momma T”. Tonya had a giving heart, she never knew a stranger. She was known for her beauty inside and out. Her sense of humor couldn’t be matched. She was a member of the Spirit of the Lord Church. Her stepfather Walter Dalton also preceded her in death. Additional survivors include her sister Gina Campbell Runyon & husband Deron, niece & nephew, Olivia & Andrew Runyon all of Huntington, two step-sisters, Michelle Shoals & husband Robert of Marysville, OH, Melissa Hopkins & husband Craig of Lexington, KY, numerous step nieces & nephews and several aunts, uncles & cousins. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary after 11:00 AM on Friday.
