ROBERT A. "BOB" KING
(October 20, 1928 - June 21, 2014)

ROBERT A. "BOB" KING, 85, of Huntington, died Saturday, June 21, 2014, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Jeff Arthur officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. Bob was born October 20, 1928, in Huntington, a son of the late Charles E. and Fern Halley King. He was a retired personnel supervisor for AEP. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War, a former member of the Board of Directors of the City Mission and a member of the Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen, Lois and Lee. Survivors include his wife Jo Ann Young King; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Pamela King and Daniel and Nancy King, all of Columbus, Ohio. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Huntington City Mission or the Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church.
