Frank Edward Geer, 70, of Barboursville, WV, loving husband, father & grandfather, died Tuesday June 24, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 12:00 PM Thursday June 26, 2014 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with Dr. David B. Lemming officiating. Entombment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Frank was born December 13, 1943 in Huntington, WV. He was retired from Huntington Steel, a U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of the Lewis Memorial Baptist Church and an avid Marshall University fan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents that raised him, Frank & Mable Geer, & one sister, Carolyn Burgess. Survivors include his wife Carol Lou Geer, two daughters, Michelle Hollenbeck & Kimberly Geer both of Barboursville, two special granddaughters, Haley McClure & Alexis Hysell of Barboursville; and a special sister-in-law, Charlotte Morris Carr of Jacksonville, FL. The family would like to thank the staff of the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House for all their loving care, and ask that donations be made to Hospice.
