Catherine Thompson Dray
(January 13, 1972 - June 28, 2014)

Catherine Thompson Dray, 42, of Huntington, beloved wife of Michael Dray, Sr. formerly of South Point, OH, passed away Saturday June 28, 2014 as a result of a tragic accident. She was born January 13, 1972, in Huntington, WV, the precious daughter of James R. Thompson and Dottie R. Ritchie Thompson, both of Huntington. Both her maternal and paternal grandparents have preceded her in death. She graduated from Huntington East High School and Marshall University. She was employed for the last 18 years for the Cabell County Board of Education as a teacher and librarian at Huntington East Middle School, and formerly for Beverly Hills Middle School. In addition to her husband and parents she leaves behind her furry children, Izzy Grace and Halle Jean; and many close coworkers and friends. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday July 2, 2014 at Chapman’s Mortuary with the Rev. Joseph Hill officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Friends may visit with the family one hour before services on Wednesday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
